| General Terms |
| We will begin working on your job once we have a deposit and the approved artwork. The deposit is at least 50% of the total estimated cost. |
| All files that are sent over must be sized to print. Please download our "template.zip" found on the "Art Specification" page of our website, and place your artwork inside of the guides to make sure it's the right size to print. We will not resize your file without a request from you, and for an additional cost of 15 dollars. |
| Please refer to the service you are requesting below (Garment Printing, Poster Printing, Graphic Design, or Custom Fabric Printing), understand what design fees, if any, may accrue during your order processing. |
| We will provide a digital mock-up of your work (Garment Printing and Poster Printing only) at no extra cost, and only at your request. Keep in mind that you will have to sign off on the digital proof, via email, before we will print your order. Also, keep in mind that proofing and/or color testing your project may delay your ready date. |
| Our standard turn around time for all print orders is 7-10 business days after the order is placed and we have the final artwork. A job that needs to be completed in 3-5 business days, after the order is placed, is considered a rush job, and will incur a 25 percent increase of the total cost. If you need a job to be completed in 1-2 business days after the order is placed there will be a 50 percent rush fee charged to the total cost of the job. Rush jobs cannot be paid by check. |
| We accept payments in the form of cash, checks, Pay Pal, American Express, Master Card, and Visa. The complete payment amount is due on the day you pick up your garments or on the day we will be shipping out your order. |
| The customer is responsible for shipping fees on all orders that must be mailed out. Shipping fees will be determined at the time you make your complete payment. |
| Louisiana sales tax of 9-10% will be added to all printing orders once the final cost is determined. If you wish to avoid paying sales tax, you must present a copy of your resale certificate at or before you pay the total cost for your order. |
| All designs we create are owned by Purple Monkey Design, LLC unless otherwise negotiated. Any design fees you pay cover usage for the specific project only. |
| Design doesn't include usage fees or reproduction rights if another printer is used. |
| Garment Printing |
| When you're choosing a shirt style, brand and color keep in mind that some shirts may be back ordered, which can push back production time. In that case, you may want to go with an alternative shirt that is available, especially if you're placing a rush order. |
| We will only and always print the artwork you send to us, at the size you send it. There is a 15 dollar resizing fee if you specify that you would like the design to be printed at a different size than what you sent us. If that artwork you send is not printable we will contact you and ask that you send a printable file. Please download our "template.zip" found on the "Art Specification" page of our website, and place your artwork inside of the guides to make sure it's the right size to print. |
| When sending us artwork to print never send copyrighted art, and never pull art from the internet to print (art online isn't meant to be printed as the resolution is usually below 300dpi, which is the minimum resolution we require for printing). Never enlarge art that you pull from the internet in order to print. It will appear pixellated and blurry and we will not print it. Also, small files that have been taken from the internet are suspicious as they are usually subject to copyright laws. |
| We only print original artwork for all of our printing services. |

| The minimum order amount for garment printing is 24 pieces, even if you bring in your own garments. We can process smaller orders for an additional cost. |
| Anything larger than our standard 10.5" x 16.5" printing area is considered to be over-sized. Please see our list of services in the "Screen Printing" section of the website for more information. |
| If you wish to print on your own garment(s) that you bring in, there will be a 50 cents per garment fee if we have to unwrap each individual garment for printing. |
| We print using an array of ink colors that you can find in the "list of inks" section of the "Screen Printing" page of the website. If you require a color that's not listed under our "list of inks" there is a 15 dollar, per color, color-matching fee. |
| We will color separate your artwork at no extra cost. |
| Changing ink colors between prints will cost 10 dollars per change. |
| Poster Printing |
| Our standard printing sizes are 11" x 17" and 18" x 24" with a .25" border (no bleeds). Any sizes bigger than these are considered to be over-sized and there will be an additional cost added into the estimate of these particular orders. |
| >Paper cost is 1 dollar a sheet for white and cream paper, and is more for colored paper or fine art paper. We use standard card stock weight paper. If you require a special paper order, the amount of that will be added to the final estimate. You can also bring in your own paper if you like, but it must be sized to one of our standard paper sizes. |
| All designs submitted for poster printing must be sized and ready to print. We will only and always print the design at the size it is sent to us. There is a 15 dollar resizing fee if you specify that you would like the design to be printed at a different size than you sent to us. If that artwork you send is not printable we will contact you and ask that you send a printable file.
