PRINTING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

File Formats

1. CS3 or earlier version of photoshop and illustrator.
2. Bitmap tiff files at 100% scale, 300-600 dpi compressed with LZW compression and saved in PC bit order
3. PDF / EPS / AI All type must be converted to outlines.

General Terms
1. We will start working on your job once we have a deposit and final print ready artwork. Our standard turnaround is 7-10 business days.
2. A job that must be completed in 3 - 5 business days is considered a rush job and will incur a 25% rush fee. If you need a 1-2 day turn around, we charge a 50% rush fee. All rush jobs must be paid by credit or debit card.
3. We accept cash, checks, master card, visa, american express and paypal. There is a %3 surcharge for paypal and credit card payments.
4. If you wish to avoid paying New Orleans Parish Tax and Louisiana sales tax, you must present a copy of your resale certificate at or before the time payment.
5. We will provide a digital proof at no cost. We do not print proofs unless instructed by the client. Proofing or color-testing your project may delay your ready date and will be an extra charge.
6. Payment is due in full when the project is picked up.
7. Client is responsible for checking that their order is complete at time of pickup. Once an order leaves our studio, we are not responsible for any damages to prints or discrepancies in quantity.

Garment Printing
1. For garment printing, the deposit is 50% or the cost of the garments, whichever is more.
2. Some shirt styles may be back ordered, which can push back production time. All garments may not be in stock for rush orders.

3. If specific image sizing is needed for your print, please include this with the artwork. Otherwise, PMD will print the image according to our standard format.

4. Standard max print area is 11"x17". Prints that go larger, off the edge, or over seams are possible, but they are special orders. We can print up to 18" x 30". Need bigger? Give us a call.

5. If you supply individually wrapped pieces that we have to unwrap, there will be a $0.50 per piece unwrapping charge.

Inks
1. There are plenty of stock colors available. http://gopurplemonkey.com/InkColors.html
If you need a special color for your print, let us know and we can PMS color match for $15.
2. We print light ink on dark colors with three methods. You must specify whether you want a single hit, double hit (extra cost), or puff additive. If you don't specify, we reserve the right to use our discretion.
3. Changing the ink between prints is not a problem. It will cost $10 per change.
4. We print with plastisol (petroleum based ink), water base, and discharge (bleaching). Let us know which route you want to take and we'll make it happen.

Design
1. All designs that we create are owned by Purple Monkey Design, LLC. unless otherwise negotiated. Design fees cover usage for the specific project only.
2. Garment design does not include usage fees or reproduction rights if another printer is used.
